Copy and paste

Styles & character coverage
A playful approximation, line by line
Upside-down text uses lookalike rotated letters and reverses their order within each line. It approximates a flipped phrase without rotating the screen. A character without a supported substitute keeps its shape but moves with the reversed line.
- Approximate shapes
- Supported Latin letters and selected punctuation use lookalike characters. Some cases share shapes, and digits are preserved rather than given misleading substitutions.
- Safe reversal
- Each line reverses independently. Line breaks stay in place, while emoji sequences and combining-accent clusters move as complete units.
Try a short phrase and read the result from its new direction. Keep essential information in ordinary text because approximate shapes can be ambiguous.

Frequently asked questions
Why are Chinese characters not rotated?
There are no upside-down Chinese substitutes in this style. Chinese characters keep their shape, but their order within each line is reversed.
Does this reverse the order of my lines?
No. The tool reverses characters within each line and retains the line order and line-break separators.
Will converting twice restore the original?
Not reliably. Some original letters share the same upside-down lookalike, so converting again cannot always recover the original letter or case. Keep the original input if you need an exact copy.
Will an upside-down phrase render as an exact rotation?
No. The output uses lookalike characters, and some letters have no exact upside-down counterpart. Rendering varies by font, while unsupported characters stay as they were. Use image rotation in a design editor when you need an exact visual rotation.
Is this free, and is my text uploaded?
Generating and copying text is free, with no sign-up. Input is limited to 500 characters and converted in your browser. When storage is available, this tab keeps a draft of your text and preview size; neither is sent to a server. Clear removes the draft text.
