How It Works

Choose your style
Compare Script and Bold Script with your phrase. Look carefully at capitals and repeated letters; the characters do not always join like real handwriting. The size slider changes this preview only; it does not set the size of pasted text.
Copy and paste
Select Copy beside the result you want. Paste with Ctrl+V, Cmd+V or your phone’s Paste action, then check the result in the destination. If Copy is unavailable, select the complete result and copy manually.

Script lettering without installing a font
The cursive font generator uses Unicode Script and Bold Script characters. These can suggest calligraphy or handwritten lettering, but they do not form a complete calligraphy font library or reproduce your personal handwriting.

- Lighter, looping forms support uppercase and lowercase Latin letters. Some letters use older Unicode symbols, so their appearance can vary slightly within the word.
- Bold Script
- A heavier script alphabet gives more visual weight. Neither script preset converts digits or guarantees connected joins between letters.

Frequently asked questions
Is cursive text the same as a handwriting font?
No. This tool substitutes existing Unicode characters. It does not inspect handwriting, learn your letterforms or create an installable font.
Will every cursive letter connect?
No. Joining and spacing depend on the font used by the destination. Unicode Script characters do not promise the connected behavior of a designed cursive typeface.
Why are numbers still ordinary digits?
Unicode does not provide Script or Bold Script digit alphabets. Digits, punctuation, emoji and unsupported letters remain in the copied text.
Will cursive text look like connected handwriting in every app?
No. These are Unicode Script characters, and the destination chooses how to draw and space them. Some letters may not connect, unsupported letters stay unchanged and missing glyphs may appear as boxes. Test a short name first.
Is this free, and is my text uploaded?
Generating and copying text is free, with no sign-up. Input is limited to 500 characters and converted in your browser. When storage is available, this tab keeps a draft of your text and preview size; neither is sent to a server. Clear removes the draft text. The separate font-creation tools follow their own plans and workflow.
How can I create a font from my own lettering?
For lettering based on your own handwriting, upload a clear handwriting or letter image. The resulting workflow starts from your source; Unicode Script presets do not reproduce your personal handwriting or promise connected handwriting behavior.
