Terms

These terms govern access to MakeFont, the material you upload, credit and subscription use, and the font files you choose to build.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to accept these terms and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your session and for keeping email, Google, and device access secure. One-time passwords are confidential and must not be shared.

Your material

You retain whatever rights you already hold in material you upload. You grant MakeFont a limited permission to store, transform, analyze, vectorize, compile, display privately, and transmit that material to disclosed processors only to provide and protect the service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions. Do not upload another person’s handwriting, copyrighted artwork, font outlines, logos, trademarks, or confidential documents unless your use is authorized.

Generated outputs and no rights guarantee

MakeFont provides technical files based on your input and edits. V1 does not promise that an output is original, unique, non-infringing, copyrightable, commercially usable, exclusive, or eligible for trademark registration. AI-assisted completion can resemble existing visual material or produce inconsistent characters. You are responsible for review and intended use.

Credits and subscriptions

A recognition run costs one credit after the recognition process starts. Optional supported-character completion costs five credits after user confirmation and a usable result. A permanent profile slot costs fifty credits. Monthly credits reset and do not roll over; registration and purchased-pack credits do not expire.

Subscription upgrades take effect after the required payment succeeds. Downgrades and cancellations apply at the next renewal. Existing profiles remain available even when their count exceeds a later capacity, but new profiles are blocked until capacity is available.

Service limits

MakeFont may enforce file size, pixel, job, profile, rate, language, script, processing-time, and abuse limits. V1 supports only expressly listed finite Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic target sets after quality validation. Unsupported scripts are rejected rather than processed into a knowingly defective font.

Availability and changes

Font generation depends on image quality and external infrastructure. MakeFont does not guarantee uninterrupted processing, recognition accuracy, or acceptance by every application. Failed platform work is retried or released according to the credit policy. Features, supported languages, and limits may change with notice when practical.

Suspension and termination

MakeFont may block paid operations, processing, or access when necessary for security, abuse, fraud, chargebacks, legal compliance, or material breach. A refund or dispute does not automatically destroy existing font files, but unused balances may be reversed and an account with a negative entitlement may require manual review.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. MakeFont disclaims implied warranties that cannot be supported by the product, including fitness for a particular publishing, licensing, or legal purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to support@makefont.app. A production launch will identify the contracting business and governing-law details before accepting live payments; those details are a release gate, not a blank silently filled with an assumption.
